Teachers & Staff Appreciation Week
Lights, Camera, Appreciation!
Teacher Appreciation Week is coming up soon with a fun-filled, celebratory, Hollywood VIP movie-theme so we need you to ACT NOW! (get it?:) Our teachers and staff are the shining stars of our school and deserve the VIP treatment so let’s roll out the red carpet to shine a spotlight on these A-listers!

How Can You Help Make TAW a Success?
You Can Participate in 3 ways!
While our PTA funds the majority of the celebration, we rely on the generosity of our RMS community to bring the overall "Hollywood VIP” movie theme to life. Here’s how you can help to support our staff during TAW:
1. Volunteer Your Time: While TAW is lots of fun for the staff, it’s a blast for the volunteers too, so please join us to help run the fun. To volunteer, please click the button below to sign up or use this link: https://robinsonpta.membershipto olkit.com/volunteer/167483.
2. Donate Items: We are looking for certain snack, drink & gift items to support our staff. To donate, please click the button below to sign up or use this link: https://robinson pta.membershiptoolkit.com/volunteer/167461
3. Submit Pics & Vids: To show our staff the VIP treatment, let’s make a movie to premiere during TAW! Please submit pictures of students holding appreciation or “thank you” signs and/or short, simple videos (30 sec. max) of students expressing their gratitude. Click the following link to upload and please label the file with your student’s name & grade level:
DEADLINE for all Requests is DUE by MONDAY, MAY 4th.
DROP OFF DONATIONS AT SCHOOL LABELED “TAW.”
WE NEED YOUR HELP FOR ALL THE 3 SO PLEASE SIGNUP!!
For volunteering, donating and/or participating in our movie, your family's name will appear "in lights" during our ending credits and will also be included in a virtual "thank you" card presented & published by our PTA.
Thank you in advance for your support! For questions and/or more information, please contact the PTA Hospitality Team at Hospitality@RobinsonPTA.org.

WHAT IS 8TH GRADE CELEBRATION?
8th Grade Celebration is an (end-of-year) afternoon of fun, for the 8th graders who will be leaving Robinson and headed off to high school. The event is held on campus, for 8th grade students only (and background-checked volunteers). Each year's celebration has a selected theme with activities, snacks, music, and tons of fun, planned by the 8th Grade Celebration Committee volunteers. This event is sponsored and organized by Robinson PTA.
WHAT IS 8TH GRADE CEREMONY?
Completion of middle school is a special time and the school administration would like to recognize all 8th grade students for their achievements at Robinson and celebrate their transition to high school. All 8th grade students and families are invited to attend a special awards ceremony.
2026 Ceremony will be at 6:00 PM on Thursday, May 21 at the Plano West Senior High Gym. Additional information will be shared in the coming weeks.
Help is Needed in Many Ways to Make the Celebration a Success!
The PTA is able to fund most of the celebration, including a DJ, snow cone truck, and activities but some additional support from our RMS community is always needed and appreciated! How can you help? Donate to the 8th grade fund, donate an item from the Amazon wish list (linked below), and/or volunteer!
Information (including donation requests and volunteer opportunities) will be shared, as available.
