Dear Robinson Families,

I hope this message finds you well and enjoying the last couple of weeks of a restful and fun-filled summer! My name is Clarisa Barr and I’m honored to serve as the new PTA President at Robinson Middle School for the upcoming school year.

As we prepare to kick off another exciting year, I want to share how excited and anxious to see what all the new school year will bring.

Our PTA is here to support students, families, teachers, and staff—and to help create a strong sense of community throughout our school.

This year, we’re planning more social events and other initiatives designed to bring us together, celebrate our students, and support the amazing work happening in our classrooms. From family nights and student-focused programs, to staff appreciation events and classroom improvement projects, we’re eager to make this year both memorable and meaningful.

To make it all happen, we need you! I encourage every parent, guardian, caregiver, staff member, and student to become a PTA member. Whether you can volunteer your time, lend your ideas, or simply show support through membership, your involvement makes a big difference. Let’s work together to build a supportive, inclusive, and vibrant school community. 

Stay tuned for updates on upcoming events and ways to get involved—we’re just getting started! For now, make sure to fill out your forms on the PTA website as well as complete the Voly application for volunteering with PISD -- it is required every year for all volunteers.
